Description
Looking down from the remote pass of Zherin La towards the Lungnak Valley with the main ridge of the Great Himalayan Range on the other side of the valley. Zanskar Mountains, Himalayas. Ladakh, India. I’ve crossed the Zherin La four times. Each time it felt no one was there between my visits. There were no fresh prayer flags – just shreds of those we had hung on my earlier visit. There are countless places like this in Ladakh and vast numbers of wild trekking routes. That makes Ladakh a perfect region for adventure treks in small groups in remote areas.
