Description
The Taboche (Tawoche; 6495m) peak, and a stupa below it, seen from Dingboche in the Everest Region of Nepal. A morning, autumn view. The Swiss climber, Ueli Steck, has climbed the mountain solo in just 4h30min, following the 1500m long route on ice of the east face watched on this photo. Trekkers heading to the Everest Base Camp in Khumbu are familiar with the mountain as it is seen from different angles not only from Dingboche, but most of the way between Namche Bazaar and Lobuche. Sagarmatha National Park, Solukhumbu.
