Description
Reconstruction works in progress at Boudhanath (the Boudha Stupa) – one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. The stupa has been severely damaged during the April 2015 Nepal earthquake (Gorkha earthquake) and was very quickly rebuilt thanks to the efforts of the local community and donors from various corners of the World. Photographed in April 2016, a year after the earthquake.
