Die Burg Volmarstein in Wetter-Volmarstein wurde im Jahre 1100 von dem Erzbischof von Koeln erbaut und von den Herrn von Volmarstein bewohnt. 1324 wurde sie von dem Grafen von der Mark erobert und zerstoert.
