Boudhanath or Boudha Stupa is an important religious site in Kathmandu, where people meet late in the afternoons to circumambulate the dome of the sacred building. In Boudha you can walk around the stupa on the ground level as well as on the upper part as those people seen here. Each of the four sides of the upper, golden tower, face a cardinal direction and the eyes depicted on each face represent the all-seeing wisdom eyes of the Buddha. The stupa is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley and one of the city's major tourist attractions. Nepal.
