Azulejos schmücken auch die Fassaden oder Innenhöfe von Gebäuden, so wie hier am Rathaus in Funchal. - Azulejos are in Portugal a form of painted and glazed ceramic tilework. They are found on the interior and exterior of private and public buildings, like here at the town hall in Funchal.
