Oberhalb der Stadt, auf der Anhöhe von San Giusto, befindet sich das wichtigste Bauwerk und Wahrzeichen der Stadt, die Kathedrale von San Giusto. An der Stelle des heutigen Doms wurde bereits im 5. Jahrhundert eine frühchristliche Basilika errichtet. Zwischen dem 9. und 12. Jahrhundert wurde sie durch zwei Parallelkirchen ersetzt. Im 14. Jahrhundert wurden beide Kirchen zur heutigen Kathedrale von San Giusto vereint. In the 5th Century, at the site of the present cathedral, was built a early Christian basilica. Between 9 and 12 Century it was replaced by two parallel churches.
