Die 2002-2005 archäologisch untersuchte und rekonstruierte Kreisgrabenanlage von Goseck (Sachsen-Anhalt) wurde vor 6900 Jahren während der Jungsteinzeit errichtet und diente unter anderem zum Bestimmen der Winter- und Sommersonnenwende. Die Kultanlage ist damit älter als Stonehenge oder die Pyramiden.
