The Spirit of Scotland Sculpture by local artist Richard Price commemorates the battles fought at Loudoun Hill by William Wallace and Robert the Bruce during the Wars of Independence. The inscripition reads "Thou saw'st the strong arm of a Wallace raised to stem the tide of alien tyranny." The sculpture was erected in September 2004. Model Released
