Der Köppchensee im Norden von Berlin ist durch Torfabbau entstanden. Früher verlief hier die Berliner Mauer. Heute steht der See unter Naturschutz. Die Höckerschwäne (Cygnus olor) und ihre beiden Jungvögel haben hier ihr Revier. - The Koeppchensee, a lake in the north of Berlin, is result of the peat mining. Up to German reunification was here the Berlin Wall. Today are the lake and its surroundings a nature reserve. The swans (Cygnus olor) and their young birds have their territory here.
