Schillingsche Figuren: Die von dem Bildhauer Johannes Schilling entworfene denkmalgeschützte Statuengruppe thront über dem Park am Schlossteich in Chemnitz. Die Figurengruppen symbolisieren unterschiedliche Tageszeiten: "Der Morgen" "Der Mittag" "Der Abend" "Die Nacht" Auf dem Bild sind nur "Der Morgen" und "Der Abend" dargestellt. "Der Morgen“ Die hintere Figurengruppe stellt den „Morgen“ dar. Der Blickfang ist eine attraktive Frauengestalt, deren glänzendes Haar den Morgenstern symbolisiert. Nach dem Schlaf neue Energie getankt, atmet sie auf, um ihr Tageswerk zu beginnen. Neben der Frau stehen zwei weitere Mädchen, von denen eines die Blumen mit einem Taukrug tränkt und das andere einen Schuh an seinem Fuß befestigt. "Der Abend“ "Der Abend“ wird von einer starken Männergestalt symbolisiert, die sich zum Abschluss des Tages der kulinarischen Seite des Lebens zuwendet. Zu dessen Füßen spielt ein Mädchen ein Saiteninstrument. Ein weiteres Mädchen begleitet sich mit einem Tamburin selbst zum Tanz.
