Description
Der Ortsteil Kirchveischede von Lennestadt im Sauerland ist bekannt fuer seine schoenen Fachwerkhaeuser rund um die Pfarrkirche Sankt Servatius, die unmittelbar an dem Fluss Veischede, einem Nebenfluss der Lenne, liegt. Die Pfarrkirche aus der Zeit der Fruehgotik besteht aus einem einschiffigen Saal. 1908 wurde die Kirche um einen Anbau im Norden erweitert. Der Kirchturm schliesst sich unmittelbar westlich an das Kirchenschiff an und wird beim Gottesdienst mit genutzt.
