Description
The Neptun Fountain in Berlin Mitte was built in 1891 and designed by Reinhold Begas. The Greek god Poseidon (Neptune) is in the center. Der Neptunbrunnen ist einer der ältesten Brunnen Berlins, er gilt als einer der schönsten der Stadt. Der Neptunbrunnen, auch Schlossbrunnen genannt, steht zwischen Marienkirche und Rotem Rathaus im Ortsteil Mitte. In der Mitte des Brunnens steht der griechische Gott Poseidon mit einem Dreizack.
