Description

Das erste Gruender- und Unternehmermuseum, abgekuerzt GUM, in Deutschland eroeffnete im September 2008 im ehemaligen Stammsitz von August und Joseph Thyssen und dem heutigen Haus der Wirtschaft in Muelheim an der Ruhr. In einer musealen Ausstellung werden die Erfolgsgeschichten Muelheimer Gruendervaeter anschaulich gemacht und bilden gleichzeitig die Grundlage für eine ansprechende, informative und aktuelle Aufbereitung des Themas "Der Weg in die Selbststaendigkeit". Das GUM ist ein "Flurmuseum". Es befindet sich im imposanten Lichthof und auf den Gaengen und Fluren des Hauses der Wirtschaft mit integriertem Gruenderzentrum auf insgesamt rund 650 Quadratmetern Flaeche.
