Die Pflanze ist sehr giftig. - Arum maculatum is a common woodland plant species of the Araceae family. It is one of the first plants which sprout in the deciduous wood in spring. Arum often grows in community with other early blossoming plants like lungwort and wild garlic. The plant is very poisonous.
