St.Olaves hospital is in Hart Street,London.It survived the great fire of 1666 because the flames were 100 yards away and the wind changed direction.It is named after King Olaf the 2nd of Norway and was built in the 13th century.It was renovated in the 15th century.It was bombed in 1941 in the 2nd World War and was restored in 1954.It has 1 sanctus bell and 8 other bells.Charles Dickens called it the "church of St.ghastly grim.Samuel Pepys the famous diarist was a patron and he and his wife are buried there.The road opposite is named Pepys Street.Also buried there is the pantomime Mother Goose in 1586 and Mary Ramsay who brought the black death to England.
