In der Siedlung Qassiarsuk, am Ufer des Eriksfjord (Grönländisch: Tunulliarfik) im Südwesten Grönlands, leben die Menschen heute von der Schafzucht. Vor etwa eintausend Jahren befand sich hier eine Kolonie der Wikinger (Brathahlid), die von Erich dem Roten gegründet wurde. The settlement Qassiarsuk located at the Eriksfjord (Greenlandic: Tunulliarfik) in southwestern Greenland. About thousand years ago this place was home to a Norsemen colony (Brathahlid) under authority of Erik the Red. Today people are living from sheep husbandry.
