Description
Solid metallic hex bolts with washers fixing the handrail to the wooden bridge post. Washers are used to spread the load of a bolt or screw over a larger area or to help prevent loosening under vibration. Washers usually have an outer diameter about twice the width of their inner diameter. High quality bolted joints require hardened steel washers to prevent the loss of pre-load due to Brinelling after the torque is applied.
