1720 entstand das private Wohnhaus des Ingenieurs Johann Heinrich Endrich. Wilhelmine von Preußen, schuf den Namen Monplaisir, erhielt es 1732 bei ihrem Einzug in Bayreuth als Ehefrau des Erbprinzen Friedrich von ihrem Schwiegervater Georg Friedrich Karl zum Geschenk.
