Die Notfallkraefte der Freistaaten Thueringen und Bayern entland der Neubaustrecke Ebensfeld - Erfurt (VDE 8.1) und die Deutsche Bahn haben sich seit vielen Monaten gut vorbereitet auf die Inbetriebnahme der neuen Bahnverbindung am 10. Dezember 2017. Die letzte von elf Grossuebungen war am 4. November 2017 erfolgreich verlaufen. Zum grossen "Blaulichtempfang Thueringen" versammelten sich zahlreiche Rettungskraefte vor dem Erfurter Hauptbahnhof um ihre neuen Einsatzfahrzeuge zu praesentieren. Anschliessend konnten die Notfallkraefte die neue Strecke mit einem Sonderzug bereisen. - Thueringens Minister fuer Inneres und Kommunales, Georg Maier, beim Blaulichtempfang am 11.11.2017 in Erfurt
