Description
Den Leuchtturm Tahkuna hat die russische Regierung 1871 auf der Weltausstellung in Paris bestellt. Er aus vorgefertigten, gusseisernen Teilen 1873/74 in Frankreich gebaut und ein Jahr später in Tahkuna errichtet. Mit 42,7 m über dem Meer ist er der höchste Turm an der estnischen Küste. Man sieht den Lichtstrahl ist bis zu 18 Seemeilen weit.
