Die geschnitzte Holztür mit der Darstellung von Ankunft und Abschied ziert den Portikus des Heyshofes in Worms. Das Museums beherbergt eine bedeutende Sammlung von Gemälden, Porzellan und Skulpturen. Auf dem linken Flügel ist eine junge Frau mit ihren Eltern dargestellt, die aus einem Wagen steigt. Der rechte Flügel zeigt ihren Gatten beim Abschied Der Schlüsselbund am Gürtel der Frau deutet auf die Schlüsselgewalt der Hausfrau hin und war ein beliebtes Motiv bei der Darstellung von Häuslichkeit und Pflichtbewußtsein im 19. Jahrhundert. 542/900 The carved wooden door with the representation of arrival and farewell adorns the portico of the Heyshof in Worms. The museum houses an important collection of paintings, porcelain and sculptures. On the left wing a young woman with her parents is depicted getting out of a car. The right wing shows her husband at the farewell The keychain on the belt of the woman indicates the key power of the housewife and was a popular motif in the representation of domesticity and duty in the 19. century.
