Description

Die Ebene 2, eine 450 Meter lange Hochbruecke, durchschneidet Hagens Stadtteil Altenhagen, wo sie taeglich 40.000 Pkws in Richtung Hagener Hauptbahnhof schleust. Das als grobe Bausuende bezeichnete Bauwerk erzaehlt heute eine neue Geschichte - die Geschichte Altenhagens, eines bislang wenig beachteten Quartiers mit hohem Migrantenanteil. 38 Bilder, die aus den Lebensgeschichten der zugewanderten Frauen aus der Nachbarschaft entstanden sind, bilden ein farbiges Band entlang der Bruecke, ergänzt durch das Wort Bruecke. In verschiedenen Sprachen erzaehlt es über die in Farbe uebersetzten Biografien von der Vielfalt der um das Bauwerk herum lebenden Bevoelkerung. Vom 23. bis zum 25.7.2010 ist die Hochbruecke im Rahmen der Kulturhauptstadt fuer den Autoverkehr gesperrt und es findet das Festival Sehnsucht nach Ebene 2 statt, mit kuenstlerischen Aktionen, chillen und grillen.
