Die Statue der Warschauer Seejungfer (Syrenka Warszawska) wurde 1939 von der Bildhauerin Ludwika Nitschowa geschaffen. Sie ist ein Symbol der Hauptstadt und befindet sich am linken Ufer der Weichsel. Auf der linken Seite befindet sich die Swietokrzyski-Bruecke. Es ist eine 479 m lange Haengebruecke. Die Bruecke wurde am 06. Oktober 2000 für den Verkehr freigegeben. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich das Nationalstadion. Es wurde am 29. Januar 2012 eroeffnet, Warschau, Masowien, Polen, Europa | The statue of the Mermaid of Warsaw (Syrenka Warszawska) was created in 1939 by the sculptor Ludwika Nitschowa. It is a symbol of the capital and is located on the left bank of the Vistula River. The Swietokrzyski bridge is located on the left side. It is a 479 m long suspension bridge.
