Description
Former coal mine "Niederberg Colliery" in North Rhine-Westphalia, with winding tower and shaft hall. The plant went into operation in 1911 and was able to produce 2.9 million tons of hard coal per year. The mine employed up to 4,900 people at peak times and was shut down in 2001.
