Description

Der Sauerlandpark Hemer ist ein etwa 27 Hektar grosser Freizeitpark in Hemer, der auf dem ehemaligen Gelaende der Landesgartenschau 2010 liegt. Wesentliche Elemente des Gartenschauparks wie das Grohe Forum, die Themengaerten, der Juebergturm und der Park der Sinne blieben erhalten. Der Park wurde am 16. April 2011 eroeffnet und bietet auch weiterhin Raum fuer kulturelle Veranstaltungen. 2012 fand zum dritten Mal die Veranstaltung Lichtgarten im Sauerlandpark in Hemer statt. Mit Scheinwerfern, Leuchtobjekten, Lichtinstallationen und Lichtleitfasern wurde der Park illuminiert und zog im Oktober Zehntausende von Besuchern an.
