Description

An die ehemalige Wirkungsstätte Alois Senefelders in Offenbach erinnert das Denkmal im Büsingpark in Offenbach. Senefelder erfand ein Verfahren aus geschliffenen Steinplatten mit fetthaltiger Tusche und einer mit Wasser beschichteten Druckform. Der Musikverleger Johann Anton André erwarb von Senefelder das Patentrecht und holte ihn im Frühjahr 1800 nach Offenbach. Das Wohn- und Geschäftshaus mit Druckerei befand sich an der Stelle des heutigen Denkmals von Kai Linke in der damaligen Domstraße 21.
