Description

Der Abela Heilstollen, frueher Felicitas Stollen, ist ein ehemals zur Gewinnung von Schiefer angelegter Stollen in Bad Fredeburg. Der Abela Heilstollen wurde im Rahmen der Zweit Praedikatisierung von Bad Fredeburg als Ort mit Heilstollenkurbetrieb umbenannt. In der Tiefe des Berges werden alle in den Stollen getragenen Partikel, wie Staubteilchen oder Allergene, mit winzigen Nebeltroepfchen umgeben und nach aussen befoerdert. Die Luft im Stollen bleibt so nahezu voellig rein, keimfrei und erneuert sich durch die laminare (nicht turbulente) Luftstroemung unablaessig von selbst. Bei Menschen mit Erkrankungen der Atemwege kann der Aufenthalt im Abela Heilstollen im Zuge einer Hoehlentherapie zu einer Linderung der Beschwerden fuehren.
