Der Hochstrahlbrunnen ist ein Brunnen in Wien. Er befindet sich am Schwarzenbergplatz und wurde anlässlich der Fertigstellung der 1. Wiener Hochquellenwasserleitung am 24. Oktober 1873 in Betrieb genommen. Südlich des Brunnens befindet sich das Heldendenkmal der Roten Armee. Es wurde 1945 zur Erinnerung an die rund 17.000 bei der Schlacht um Wien gefallene Soldaten der Roten Armee errichtet, Wien, Österreich, Europa | The Hochstrahlbrunnen is a fountain in Vienna. It is located at Schwarzenberg Platz and was the occasion of the completion of the first Vienna water line on 24 October 1873 put into operation. South of the fountain is a monument to heroes of the Red Army. 1945 it was built to commemoration the 17,000 fallen Red Army soldiers in the Battle of Vienna. Vienna, Austria, Europe
