Description
Grandmother came back for the obon festival that honors the spirits of the ancestors. She admires the pond by remembering the past near the exagonal Gazebo Ukimido in the central pond of Mejiro Garden where ducks are resting and which is surrounded by large rocks under the foliage of the Japanese pines trees and a variety of momiji maple trees like iroha-momiji, yama-momiji, or oo-momiji. The gazebo has a wickerwork ceiling that beatifully reflects the light from the surface of the water.
