Description

Menschen auf der Eisbahn des Welterbes der Kokerei Zollverein in Essen-Katernberg im Winter waehrend der Daemmerung. Seit Dezember 2001 betreibt die Stiftung Industriedenkmalpflege und Geschichtskultur jeweils fuer ein paar Wochen im Dezember und Januar die Eisbahn vor der spektakulaeren Kulisse der Kokerei Zollverein in Essen. Ebenfalls seit Dezember 2001 gehoeren die Kokerei und die Zeche Zollverein zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO. Ausserdem ist Zollverein ein Ankerpunkt mit Besucherzentrum nicht nur fuer die nationale Route der Industriekultur im Ruhrgebiet, sondern auch fuer die Europaeische Route der Industriekultur ERIH.
