Das Deutsche Bergbau Museum in Bochum ist das groesste in der Welt. Das Anschauungsbergwerk mit einem Streckennetz von ca. 2,5 km Laenge ist eine besondere Attraktion. Hier vermittelt sich hautnah der grundlegende Wandel des Bergmanns unter Tage. Erbaut wure das Museumsgebauede von dem bedeutenden Industriearchitekten Fritz Schupp in den 30er Jahren.
