Die Gemeine Esche, Fraxinus excelsior ist ein in Mitteleuropa heimischer Laubbaum. Im Herbst fallen die Blätter zumeist grün vom Baum, eine Gelbfärbung wie hier im Choriner Land im Osten Brandenburgs ist selten. - The European ash, Fraxinus excelsior is native in Middle Europe. The leaves have no markedly autumn colour, only rarely a yellowish tinge.
