Description
Named after the Duisburg local historian Heinrich Hildebrand stockpile consists among other things of the slag dump of the former zinc smelter MHD Sudamin GmbH, which was shut down in August 2005. With the galvanized steel as a building material , the sculpture takes on the historical reference to the site. The building on an area of 40 by 41 meters is just over 20 meters high (top of loop ) . It can be fully committed to the loop, which means that you have to run back the way in both directions to the start point again . Since the path has a width of less than one meter, it always comes back to bottlenecks , especially on the steeper sections, and that a maximum of 195 visitors are allowed at a time. The highest attainable point is 13 meters high . The heap rises 35 meters above the surrounding street level (67 meters above sea level ), so that a visitor to the sculpture of 48 meters height can look (80 meters above sea level) of the surrounding industries .
