Das nationalsozialistische KZ Groß-Rosen lag in Schlesien an der Bahnstrecke zwischen Jauer und Striegau. Heute gehört der Ort Rogoźnica zu Polen. Auf dem Lagergelände befindet sich eine Gedenkstätte. Das Torhaus vom Hauptzugang zum Lager trägt die zynische Inschrift "Arbeit macht frei".
