Der Güter- und Rangierbahnhof in Pankow war einst der wichtigste Güterumschlagplatz in Berlin. Nach über hundert Jahren Nutzung wurde er 1997 stillgelegt. Seither verfällt das 250.000 Quadratmeter große Areal und bildet eine riesige Industriebrache mitten in der deutschen Hauptstadt. - In the past was the goods station and switchyard in Pankow an important center for trade and traffic in Berlin. After over one hundred years of utilization he was shut down in 1997. Since then this area of 250,000 square-meters decays and is today a enormous industrial wasteland in the north-east of the German capital.
