Jan Karski (eigentlich Jan Kozielewski, 1914-2000) war Offizier der polnischen Heimatarmee (AK) und einer der wichtigsten Zeugen der Shoa. Sein Denkmal steht in Warschau in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zum Denkmal der Ghettohelden und zum Museum POLIN. - Jan Karski (1914-2000) was a officer in the Polish Home Army (AK) and resistance movement fighter. Karski informed the Polish government-in-exile and the international public about the Holocaust. The Monument is situated near the Ghetto fighters monument and the new Museum POLIN in Warsaw.
