Berlin, Germany - April 17, 2009: Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz in Berlin. A lot of tourists and citizens are watching a live performance by street actors. The city gate in german is called Brandenburger Tor. It's one of the few monuments that survived in the defeated capital town of Berlin after second world war. King Frederick William II of Prussia commissioned the Gate and Carl Gotthard Langhans built it from 1788 to 1791.
