Commission


With picture agencies, the most common commission rate is 50%. We can and want to pay out higher commissions, since at Zoonar, you take over part of the work (adding keywords to your photos), and because we are a streamlined operation. We offer graduated commission rates so there is an incentive to sell as many pictures as possible via Zoonar. We see this as the only way we can succeed and win a good position on the picture market. We also hope in these times of falling picture prices to attract many professionals with our high payouts for mutually beneficial cooperation.

The commission rate is calculated either on the basis of the total number of pictures you have uploaded or on the basis of the amount of revenue you have generated with your pictures.

Commission Rates Based on Number of Uploaded Pictures:

Up to 500 pictures 50% share
501 to 1000 pictures 60 % share
1001 to 2000 pictures 65% share
2001 to 3000 pictures 70% share
3001 to 4000 pictures 75% share
From 4001 pictures 80% share

Commission Rates Based on Revenues:

Revenues less than 100 euros 50% share
Revenues over 100 euros, less than 500 60 % share
Revenues over 500 euros, less than 1000 65% share
Revenues over 1000 euros, less than 2500 70% share
Revenues over 2500 euros, less than 5000 75% share
Revenues over 5000 euros 80% share

Example:

The arrangement most favourable to the photographer is implemented. If, for example, only 20 pictures have been uploaded, but, however, revenue was generated of EUR 1500, the photographer receives a 70% commission rate.
