Zoonar was established in Hamburg, Germany in 2006. At a time, when image libraries are mushrooming around the globe and the picture market worldwide is in a state of flux, we want to stand out from the crowd.

Commission rates of up to 80%

Depending on your total number of accepted pictures, your royalty share increases step by step to 80%. Using this model, we want to reward photographers who provide us with many great pictures. Firstly, because captioning and image submission mean a lot of work. Secondly, because experience shows that the number of downloadable pictures is a critical criterion for generating buyers' interest in an image bank. Only when we receive a lot of pictures, we will be able to sell a lot of pictures, too.

Self-management

Upload your data using a FTP client or the free "Zoonar Media Manager". Or send us JPEGs or EPS Files on a data media. You can alter prices or licence models, or delete pictures any time you wish. What´s more, it is easy to post-process uploaded data.

Passion for innovation and new ideas

In addition, Zoonar offers you the facility of creating lightboxes with keyword strings, thus helping you to market your portfolios effectively. However, we also proactively market your work by putting together our own lightboxes and offer them to specifically targeted potential buyers. Our search system is extremely fast and it is constantly further developed. We envisage new partnerships that will open up new markets for your pictures. We also consider the possibility of accepting graphic design work in future. So we‘ve still got plenty to do!
